INTRODUCTION CT M3
During module 3, the formulation and preparation of paints are studied in detail. Important topics discussed: paint composition, binders, pigments, fillers, additives, equipment and properties of liquid and film formed systems.

FOR WHO?
For people that work with, or in the development of, (raw materials for) paints. Participants will be able to develop better products in a faster way (because they will learn what the key properties of the raw materials are and how the ingredients behave in complete systems, thus changing the properties of those systems).

 

EXAMINATION
This module is concluded with an open book examination (not obligatory). After passing the exam successfully you will be awarded a Module 3 certificate.  After completing all modules successfully, you will be awarded the 'Coating Technologist' certificate from the PTN.
